For the first time in San Diego, Diaspora Arts Connection, in collaboration with the Persian Cultural Center of San Diego, presents Let Her Sing®: A Celebration of Female Voices on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Now in its 10th anniversary year, Let Her Sing brings communities together in celebration and support of the female voice—especially in parts of the world where women’s voices continue to be suppressed, censored, or restricted. The series creates a platform for women artists from around the globe to perform freely, share their stories, and celebrate the power of music as a force for resilience, connection, and cultural expression.

This special San Diego edition marks an important new chapter for Let Her Sing, expanding the program’s reach and bringing its message of artistic freedom, solidarity, and cross-cultural celebration to new audiences in Southern California.

The evening will feature live music and performances by women vocalists whose artistry reflects the richness of global traditions, diasporic experience, and contemporary creative expression.
