(This program is entirely in Persian.)
In times when fear and grief feel especially present, it’s easy to become overwhelmed, isolated, or disconnected.
Yet what moves through us individually is also shared collectively.
Movement with Emotions is an invitation to gently step back and notice how disconnection—from ourselves, from each other, and from the world around us—shapes our emotional responses. In these states, we may react more quickly, feel heightened fear, or lose touch with our inner ground.
Together, we will slow down.
Through gentle, body-based practices—including somatic awareness, Iranian music therapy, meditation, pranayama, and soft yoga—we will return to the body and create space for what is present, especially fear and grief.
From this place, we begin to restore a sense of connection—within ourselves and with one another.
This is a non-political space, held with the intention of presence, emotional support, and collective care.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you . To help you feel as comfortable and supported as possible during the program, please bring:
• A yoga mat
• Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for gentle movement
• A blanket or small cushion if you’d like extra support
We will have a limited number of cushions and chairs available, but we encourage you to bring what you need to feel grounded and at ease.
The space opens shortly before the program begins, and we recommend arriving a few minutes early to settle in.
We look forward to sharing this time of presence, breath, and music with you.
