Diaspora Arts Connection proudly presents Golazin for Iran on Saturday, February 25, 2023 in San Francisco. The exiled Iranian singer and women’s rights activist Golazin, internationally known as Gola, will be performing her revolutionary album, ’Change.’ This program is to amplify the voice of the current revolution in Iran. It is to bring awareness and support the voices of those who are fighting for freedom by risking their lives. It is also to honor the innocent lives we have lost since September 2022.” Golazin will be accompanied by Yahya Alkhansa on drums, Safa Shokrai on bass, Mohammad Talani on electric guitar, and Asaf Ophir on wind instruments.
