Diaspora Arts Connection proudly presents Vienna-based vocalist Emma, accompanied by composer and musician Erik Asatrian on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

About the Artist

Emma is a Persian singer and songwriter who has faced challenges due to her gender and passion for music in her home country of Iran. Despite these challenges, she has continued to pursue her love of music and eventually moved to Vienna in 2020 to fully pursue her musical aspirations.

In addition to her career as a singer, Emma has also trained as a CVT coach, specializing in helping people develop their voices and expressive power. She has specialized in Persian music, but is also involved in the electronic music scene and has collaborated with pianist and producer Erik Asatrian on various projects. Emma is known for her passionate and energetic stage presence and is working on her first album, set to be released soon. Emma is an asset to the music scene in Vienna and we will surely be hearing more from her in the future.
